multi sound modes/ sat motor control (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
Iam a big fan of MP and have been for about a year now(use it everyday).

Sorry if these suggestions are all ready in use but i thought id mention them anyway.

1) In my movies/ tv/ dvd when viewing a movie it would be nice to press a button on the remote to change the sound mode.. IE 5.1 to sterio. Its a pain having it set for 5.1 with MPACODEC or ac3filter then having to switch on my AV amp to get the other channels when I only want to listen with the TVs speakers.


2) I know the new TV client has satillite motor control but on my simple HTPC setup the TV client software is over complicated , will this feature likely be included on the standard MP release?

Hi there, with regard to point 2, its really a pretty straightforward setup and i'm sure this is the future of MP, recent builds are very stable, why not leap in and get sat motor control.

I tried setting client up but it wouldnt see my tv cards.
I like the self contained MP myself- for a non server htpc anyway.
If I was using a server I would "battle on" with client but I wont be doing that.
Seriously sat control in the standalone product would be great.
