Multiple audio/video capture cards? (1 Viewer)

I'm new to Media Portal, apologies for such a basic question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.

I want to connect other devices to it via capture cards, eg. Xbox, Foxtel box, video camera, etc which all have the yellow, red & white RCA connectors.

I want to have a separate capture card for each device.

Can MP detect multiple capture cards, and choose between them in the GUI eg. Input 1, Input 2, etc.?

Where in MP do you add these? (if it's possible)

Yup, you have to add external channels (Add new channel and then click the External tab) and choose the correct input. You can then map different inputs to different cards. I believe the Mediaportal Manual has more on this.

Even now knowing the correct terms to search for, I could still find nothing to do with this in the manual. "External tab" even produces zero hits.
But you have been a great help.
