Hi, I need to set up a system to be able to record at least four TV-channels (independet of transpondergrouping) at the same time. I have four tv-subscriptions (digital cabel (DVB-C) with four tv-cards so the signal should not be a problem.
My question is now what hardware/softwhare other that MediaPortal that I need.
1. Do I need Windows MCE or will XP Pro support multiple DVB-C cards? (I do not need a remote)
2. Will four DVB-C tuners work in one computer or do I need to use two idendical systems with two tuners each?
3. Is there any diffrenece using the Twinhan AD- CP300 ( 2033) or the more expensive FloppyDTV from Digital Everywhere? Are bout supported for multiple tuners use?
And last but not least, what kind of computer will I need to run things? Will a P4, 3.0 Ghz with 1GB of memory be enough? Or do I need a monster setup to run things?
