Multiple "Esc" pressures (1 Viewer)

I've found this issue that I would like to resolve:
when I'm into any plugin and I press "Esc" key to come back to the home screen, it spends some seconds for doing it (with an Atom CPU). If I press "Esc" again (one, or more than one times) during this time, when the home screen appears, it reloads a lot of times (with the same fade in animation).

There is any solution to prevent this? (actually I'm using the RC1 version)

I try to make the request more easier.

Is there any method (plugin, function, code patch, ...) to block the Escape key, only when I'm in the BasicHome screen?

RC2 should resolve some of the slowness in MP's GUI, and as this is not far away, I would ask you to test that when released and confirm if any better
