hi all
my media files are stored on several volumes across my lan but in the setup > movies > movie folders, i can only select one location :(

my improvement suggestion would be allowing multiple location selections!!
other then that, this is a GREAT alternative to Media Centre !!!!!

Hi,

remove the check mark and all entries will show up within MP. If an entry is checked it is shown as the only one.

If an entry is checked it is shown as the only one.
slight correction,
if an entry is checked, it is taken as the "default" entry
and will always show first

you can always go up a level, and see all entries
but to see all entries by "default", leave all unchecked

You can also use the My Movie Database Views, which will give you a combined view of the movies (or music, there it is the same) of everything (for example by Genre, Year, Artist etc.)

    thanks, that's worked a treat !!

Now, one other question, is it just me/my pc, or is it s-l-o-w to load folders?!
I have about 250 movies in avi format stored on a NAS box - windows explorer opens them in about 2 seconds but MP takes about 30-45, sometimes more :(

(note: They are in list view so not fetching any previews or anything)
