Not sure if this has been suggested before, but would it be possible to implement an option in MP so that multiple hard drive folders can be seen as one folder?

i currently run a RAID array to store my movies and music, so that i can use one folder to point MP to when accessing my files. The trouble is, whenever my array fills up, i have to copy everything accross to a new array (means buying lots of hard drives at once). Life would therefore be much easier if i could simply add a new HDD at a time when ive run out of space, but MP still see it as one large drive (and therefore list my movies and music in alphabetical order on one page).

this is currently not an option as you can only point MP to one address to look for media.

fantastic, youve just made my day! is this possible with 0.2.3.0 do you know?

edit: ive just spotted a problem, i dont have an internet connection at home to be able to update my media database, is it possible for MP to scan all files in a directory, and then view them in MyVideos as an offline database (just a list of files)?

Database view has been around for as long as I can remember, so should work fine with 0.2.3.0, this does rely on the database scanning them correctly though.

Another solution to this problem is using Moving Pictures plugin for Movies, this scans multiple HDDs/Directory locations and displays all movies as one list.

ive already had a RAID setup but want to move away from it now as software raid is a bit too unreliable or me, and hardware raid is too expensive.
