I have installed Directvobsub configured my codecs to be able to display subtitles automatically for .avi and .mkv. I'm also able to enable/disable the subtitles from MediaPortal while I'm watching a movie.
Usually I name the video and subtitle files the same (except for the suffix, of course). Is there a way to have several subtitle files for a single video file (for multiple languages) and be able to select a language while playing the movie? I tried naming the subtitle files like that (if the movie is called movie_name.avi): movie_name.english.srt, movie_name.german.srt, etc. That way, I see no subtitles at all.
Is there a way to be able to pick from several subtitle files to view with a movie?
