    Hi.

As my providers in Belgium only offer ridiculous settopboxes OR CI+ cards, i'm going to get sat tv shortly.
However, I would like to have 4 tuners in my tv server htpc.
Is it possible to have a 4 tuner card with only one smart card/CI-card?

Would this slow down the channel switching etcetera, as the CI-card decrypts the channels. Is softcamming a solution?

    Thanks in advance!
    Greetings

The only Card I know which Support 4 Tuners with cam Support is the digital-devices cine S2: http://www.digitaldevices.de/english/Cine_S2.html
But you have to check if your Smartcard and cam module works with this Card.
What you could also do is to checkout this: http://www.smartwi.net/
Thats my solution. I use a dual-tuner Card with 2 ci Slots and 2 smartwii client-Cards. Works perfectly.
