Multiseat plugins (1 Viewer)

Hi

Could someone please explain to me why plugins like Moving pictures and Myfilms are, and even Mediaportals own video "plugin" not real multiseat plugins, where all directory scanning and delivery of movies are done at the TVserver??

In that way the clients didn't have to scan directories and grab IMDB information for the movies in the movie directories.

I think the idea with a multiseat Mediaportal is fantastic, but unfortunately the fantastic plugins do not support this!!

Only TV server itself is having multiseat support. MediaPortal itself has no support for multiseat at the moment. All directory / file scanning for movies is done by the MediaPortal itself and not the tv server. Movies aren't delivered by tv server but instead OS itself.

That is excactly what i find strange. Will it be different in the future(MP2)??
