[confirm] Music: duration of titles shown in Now Playing is too long (1 Viewer)

The duration (and progress bar) of music titles shown in the Now Playing screen is too long with some mp3 files (p. e. 10:45 min instead of the correct 4:55 min). When the song ends, there is some time left on the progress bar. The playlist, MP3Tag and Windows Explorer give the correct duration. This bug occurs only with some (about half of my music collection) songs.

Step by step description:
1. Go to My music.
2. Select a song and check the duration.
3. Play the song.
4. Go to Now Playing and check, if the showed duration is longer.

I could send you a mp3 file as example if you need it.

Sample it's needed(upload someplace & send link) for this, those times i've had it, it actually has been bad mp3's but in your case seems not.

This sample shows up correct here, you use the default BASS player or?
Btw, something seems wrong with your MediaPortal.log only few entries & rest it's missing, so maybe try to collect them one more time.

yes, the sample seems to be OK on your system. You can see the different duration on my system here:



The log files I've gathered with the MP debug mode function. I have recollect the information by setting the log verbosity in configuration by hand and have attached the new zip file.

I'm using the internal dshow player and ReClock to set the matching speaker configuration for my AVR and to use WASAPI mode. Now I have tested again with BASS player with the same result as you - the duration is OK. The problem seems to exist only with the dshow player.
