Music 'Now playing' button on MCE remote (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how i can map the red teletext button on the MCE remote so that it switches and maximises the 'now playing' screen when listening to music as well as when watching video content?

When watching TV or films the red 'now playing' button works just fine and i can switch from tv guide/film details screen to mximise the currently playing video media, but when listening to music, pressing the red button just maximises a blank screen.

I think this is because when looking at the remote mapping in MP config it says that the red button switches to window 'Fullscreen Video'. But obviously when listening to music there isnt any Fullscreen Video so you get a blank screen. I dont see an option anywhere in mapping to switch to 'Fullscreen Media' though, so im not quite sure how to get around it?

The red button works unless you have vizualisations enabled (in which case it goes to full screen viz).

That or you are using PureAudio plugin which breaks this.

I have a hauppauge 45 button remote , and i have used the yellow text button to goto now playing , then using back/Exit to return
You should be able to do this with the MCE remote

open config
click remote
click microsoft MCE, then click mapping
open the option for microsoft MCE remote at the top and look for teletext specific buttons
then change to the setting to the one in the photo

I dont have vizualisations enabled or purevideo installed, just MP1.2 with avalon skin (plus tvseries and moving pictures plugins).

So you have a seperate button for fullscreen now playing video media to fullscreen now playing music? Not really the way i want to go but thanks for the idea.
