Hi,
I have searched the forums for this, but I could not find anyone asking for this.
This Christmas i gave my self a new HI-FI setup, and immediatly noticed the huge difference in quality when listening to my music-collection.
I will start re-ripping to flac lossless soon, but that will take a LOT of time.
I am using the My Tv-series plugin, and I love the icons showing media information like: 16/9, 4/3, SD, HD, MP3 2.0 and so forth.
I am basically missing the same functionality in MP.
It would be great if MP could show the bitrate and codec in the db-view, and maybe skinners could overlay the album-art with this information as an icon?
Example of information:
MP3 320kbps VBR 44.1kHz/24-bit
MP3 128kbps CBR 44.1kHz/24-bit
FLAC 96kHz/24-bit
This could be further simplified e.g :
MP3 320kbps VBR 44.1kHz/24-bit - MP3 High Quality - High Quality
MP3 128kbps CBR 44.1kHz/24-bit - MP3 Low Quality - Low Quality
FLAC 96kHz/24-bit - FLAC Lossless - Lossless
Is this feasible to implement?
Best Regards
