Hi

This is a little tool I made for downloading music videos for use with mvcentral plugin.
With bulk mode you can download an entire music video library based on your music tastes overnight with only a few clicks.

Installation

Extract everything inside the zip into a folder
Run MVD.exe
Enter Download folder for music videos
Enter any other music video folders in the box below

Enable [x] Monitor Clipboard
Right click a video link in youtube and click copy link
If everything is working correctly you can now bulk download lots of videos

Click Bulk Downloads
Click Add Top Artists from Library. Choose 100 Artists.
Enter details, Click Start
Wait a few minutes, Review selection, Rename/Delete items.
Click Finished. Click View DL List, this should show a list of videos
Add more videos if wanted. Click Start Bulk DL, goto sleep.
Wake up with a perfect music video collection based on your music taste

v7 - Fixed bug causing some videos to be saved as title - artist instead of artist - title. Also fixed bug where Bulk DL's were being saved to normal DL folder.
v8 - Lots of improvements, the main one being handling of special characters to autostart DL (so you can add shortcut to startup folder if you wish)
v9 - GUI Improved for adding videos to download list. Added options to modify the DL List (Clear/Reset/Retry). Added options for Similar artists and top artists.
v10 Added Pitchforktv. Fixed issue with bulk download trying to DL unlimited # of simultaneous DLs at once.
v11 - special character tweaks. russian tweak. Broke similar artists (?v10) now fixed it.

To Do
Add button to retry previously skipped + failed files.
Add option to automatically resume downloading bulk files on startup
Add additional sources of music videos
eg. Last.FM user groups or tags.
Add support to add music videos based on last.fm recommendations, etc...
Add support to download youtube playlist.
Add better support for funny characters
Button to clear user cache / Button to clear entire cache

thanks mate. with this tool i batch downloaded and added 450 music videos all perfectly named to my music video collection. only had to rename 6 files. all the names match perfectly with mvcentral plugin bc the names come from music brains database. and to iget more videos i just have to go onto last fm andadd the names of similar users.

It just takes so much longer to do stuff. I'm wondering if I should of been using AutoIt instead of Autohotkey?

Oh oh - after starting bulk download, the windows explorer window of the MVD folder is constantly popping up - impossible to kill that process . had to restart windows
