music view problem (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
don't if my request is right in this thread, if not please feel free to move.

I have some problems with the view within the music section of my configuration. It sounds so easy what i want and i think it's so easy in the same way to configure but i won't get it up and running.

My aim: i want to have the music view follows: when i enter the music section by pressing music i want to see all the albums of my collection in a filmstrip view. then, when i click on one specific album i want to see the single songs in a list view as it it displayed in the following manual:
MediaPortal/Configuration/Music/Views - MediaPortal Manual Documentation (tha last two pictures, first for album view second for song view)

i configured mp in the following way:
mp configurator-music-view
view: alben
selection: album viewas: filmstrip sortby: album
selection: track viewas: list sortby: track

but i see my collection in filmstrip view. both, the albums and the tracks.

don't know where the problem is.... pleeeeeeeeeease help me.

Works exactly as you described it.
Could you please post your musicviews.xml, which is found in the MP Config folder?

Just gave it a try.
your view works as expected.

You've modified the "Artist" view. When enetering it, i have the albums as filmstrip. selecting an album shows the tracks in list form.
same happens using the "Album" view.

okay, so thanks... it's just a little bit confusing, because sometimes it works as i want but another time everything is shown in filmstrip. i think this happens if i scroll quickly through my collection. if i scroll slowly then everything is okay.
