Music won't play after idle (1 Viewer)

When I start Mediaportal it has no problem playing music. But if leave it for some time without any music or video running it won't play any music. All I get is an errormessage saying "Can't play file xxxx. Audio codec." Why?

I'm geting an error acquiring the handle to the file.
looks like lease to your network drive is lost.

could you please try the following test.
1. run MP in windowed mode
2. play some songs
3. leave mp idle to reproduce the error
4. access the share via windows explorer (without closing mp)
4. try to play a song again

Im getting the exact same thing. But it doesnt play anything after I leave it on idle for about 2h.
My HTPC is a stand alone HTPC. I dont use the network for anything.
Any ideas?
