Hi ajs,

did you have an solution?

I have the same problem but find out, that it's not the pre-version. In my case it's a corrupt database. If I delete this db and let the plugin create a new one, there's no problem to start mvCentral.
Then I let the plugin import my clips, all is ok. But if I would like to change this automatically imported data with an export/import (csv) the plugin crashes again. I would like to export my data because it's easier for me to make my changes in excel.
Changing data within the plugin, all is ok.

Did someone have an solution?

if I have understood correctly props

edit db with "SQLiteStudio-2.1.5" (no setup) and secure db easy.
I have 1200 clips and doing this just so!

editiere db mit "sqlitestudio-2.1.5" (kein setup) und sichere db einfach.
ich besitze 1200 clips und mache dies nur so !

My problem is that I had my clips all been entered into the mvCentral DB. These were by then more than 3,000 clips (currently about 3,400).
Then, with an update, something changed in the database structure, since I get added no further clips more.
Since that time I had almost a year maintained my data before I was ready, I have no desire to make everything new again.

Therefore, the approach to create a work DB structure with the old data.

For this, I try the structure with an export to an Excel format to get to easily and quickly get in Excel, the data from my old DB in the new DB. Then import the Excel spreadsheet back into mvCentral. So the plan.

But After importing it only comes to crashes, MP can no longer be started.

Deswegen der Ansatz, eine funktionieren DB-Struktur mit den alten Daten anzulegen.

Hierfür versuche ich die Struktur mit einem Export in ein Excel-Format zu bekommen, um in Excel einfach und schnell die Daten aus meiner alten DB in die neue DB zu bekommen. Dann die Excel-Tabelle wieder in mvCentral importieren. So der Plan.

Nach dem Import kommt es aber nur noch zu Abstürzen, MP lässt sich überhaupt nicht mehr starten.

hast du noch die alte org. db ? denke, ist anderer fehler.
kann mir nicht vorstellen, das ein update die db versaut, nur von mp 1.3 oder 1.4 aufwärts wurde die musik db geändert.
sonst hätten andere ebenfalls diesen bug
welche mvcentral version nutzt du ?

can not imagine the mess a update the db, only 1.3 or 1.4 mp up the music db changed me.

Yes, I still have my old db. Would you like to have a look on it?
With MP I'm on 1.15 pre. After reading the last threads here, I'm back to 1.14 on my working pc.
