I changed it to “Fermin Muguruza” and the file “Fermin Muguruza & Afro-Basque Fire Brigade - Sarri SArri (Vina Rock 2007).avi” was understood as Artist: “Fermin Muguruza”</p><p>Song: “Basque Fire Brigade”. </p><p></p><p>3. The plugin couldn’t find any Russian group even using Last.fm. </p><p>2ва Самолета wasn’t found there, although they have their own page there:</p><p><a href="http://www.lastfm.ru/music/2%D0%B2%D0%B0+%D0%A1%D0%B0%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%B0" target="_blank">2?? ???????? ? ?????? ?? Last.fm</a></p><p>I guess something might be wrong with encoding, when it searches the musician, because variants in the window didn’t have anything similar with the name.</p><p></p><p>4. The plugin can’t search Internet using patterns like “(name), the”. To make it work I had to put down only “(name)”. If there’s more than 1 file, I have to repeat it continuously until the last clip. </p><p></p><p>5. If anyway the artist is not in the list, I have to press “skip”, loosing the artist. It’s pretty hard to wait until the end of the procedure and to compare the share(s) and the console to find missing files for adding them manually.</p><p></p><p>6. Customizing scanning patterns “artist” - ”album” – “song” (several for non-VIDEO_TS files and several for VIDEO_TS files).</p><p>2. Scanning folders and file names according to patterns and writing info about artists and songs into DB without connecting to Internet. This way we won’t loose any file.</p><p>3. When scanning, looking for “Folder.jpg” as a thumb for an artist and “Folder.jpg” or “(file name).(extension for pictures)” for albums and/or songs. If there’s no picture, mark the artist for looking in the Internet (4) and/or the album/song for drabbing info from the file (4). At this point the procedure is finished and the user may close the console and watch MP.</p><p>4. Making it possible to get missing (marked) thumbs:</p><p>(a) by pressing in the console “refresh thumbs” and getting them from Internet or from files,</p><p>(b) when choosing an artist/album/song (in the background).</p><p></p><p></p><p>PS</p><p>1. It would be nice to retrieve artist’s info from last.fm according to language chosen in the console.</p><p>2. I didn’t quite get the difference between “genre” and “styles”.
