    Hi,

thats a really cool looking system! I presume the system is mounted vertically on that piece of board? Is there any resonance from the fan etc into the wood or is it totally silent?

There is no any resonance. The wood is too big for resonance. :)

I like that setup :) It's very professional looking and yeah, seems like the wood would very much help to eliminate noise.

    two thoughts of mine though:
    1) It's a pretty far off thought, but what sort of wood is it? In case of massive system failure, MDF could be a bit too prone to fire. Maybe add in some thermal fuses? I realise anything like this is very unlikely, but just to make sure all your bases are covered.

    2) please tell me that with such a professional looking set up you have a remote control for it? I can't see any receivers and the keyboard and mouse are a bit too obvious, kind of like they are required for operation. If you don't already have a remote, grab an MCE one. They are very cheap nowadays and can do it all. Otherwise, look at the voice control plug in, now that would really impress people :) The remotes in the pictures look more like TV/DVD etc, but I could be wrong.

    Great work,
    Marcus.

Yes, it is MDF. The CPU runs under 50C on 100% load, the PSU too. There is enough gap behind the LCD TV for heat.

There is a remote for Leadtek tuner. Now it is enough me. I use the MP coolcommand plugin. I can start PC from off but i can't from standby or hibernate. It is a problem here. :(
