Please accept my pologies if the answer to this is already in one of the 36 (!) pages in this thread. Maybe it would be a good idea to go back to having a separate section for each of the more popular plugins to avoid this kind of congestion. Evidently I am too stupid to use this thing. I would like to burn a CD containing several directories full of MP3 files and cannot figure out how to select what should be on the CD. My Burner lets me navigate around the file structure, but I get no popup menu from the "Info" key. How can I select files or directories for inclusion? P.S. After reading more of this thread, I am more confused than ever. I'm not even sure I have the right files installed. All of the files in my <MP Installation>\Burner folder are more than a year old, even though I have installed today's SVN (2 Feb. 2008). The Configuration dialog looks nothing like the screenshots posted in p. 3 of this thread, but those are also well over a year old. I have the IMAPI service set to start automatically, but it still doesn't start on boot. I am able to start it manually, however. Edit: According to this web page, IMAPI only runs when needed, even if set to "Automatic" I can't find any description of the plug-in or how to use it on the MP Wiki. :S Please, give me a hint! P.P.S. Before, I was trying to add directories. Now I finally realized that only individual files can be added. I tried to fill a CD with songs, but MP crashed with an access violation as soon as burning started (logs attached). I don't understand how this can be, since MP runs under an account with "Administrator" privileges. I was able to create a CD using the built-in Drag 'n' Drop XP functionality, which also uses the IMAPI service. Any ideas? P.P.P.S I finally succeeded in burning an audio CD (previous attempt was a data CD containing MP3 files). This seems to have worked OK, but when burning was finished, the CD started playing immediately. When I took out the CD MP was hung and had to be killed (see rsbrux MP hung after Burn Log.zip) P.P.P.P.S. Burner has now successfully produced two additional audio CDs, so at least that part seems to work well! The previously reported hang seems to be due to ejecting the CD without first having stopped playback.
