ECS A-780GM-A
AMD Phenom 8450
4GB DDR2-800
550Watt "quiet" Power Supply (18db)
120mm CPU Heatsink/Fan combo (Xigmatek HDT-S120) (replaced the stock fan with a lower noise 120mm fan I had)
1 500GB WD SATA
2 1TB Seagate SATA drives
Blu-Ray/HD-DVD ROM combo drive.

Currently in a Themaltake Desktop case (researching a good HTPC case)

I use Vista64bit ultimate (one of many free copies MS loves to give every show I attend)
I have concurrent logins hacked so i can log in as another account remotely and run torrents/downloads/rips/etc in the background. It also serves as a media store for my software/photos/documents for my other computers.
I use a simple HTPC login that autoloads Mediaportal at login with a MCE remote for simplified use for the wife and son.

This is hooked up by HDMI to a 1080p 42" westinghouse LCD.
When at idle, it cannot be heard over my DirecTV HD DVR. During a movie, you most definitely cannot hear the PC.

I am looking at a decent HTPC case for under 200$ that is similar in look to the DirectTV HD-DVR (HR21 model). Anyone have any recommendations?
