[QUOTE="moster67, post: 174269, member: 55348"] Hello and my greetings to all of you here at the forum. My Dreambox went dead the other day and I now want to replace it with a HTPC. So the main-thing for my set-up is to watch Satellite-TV using my STAB HH-120 m/rotor and my ordinary Philips 16/9 widescreen CRT TV (no LCD/PLasma) with SCART-input. This was the way I used it with my Dreambox and which was working great. Apart from cabinets/PCUs/fans etc, I am more worried about computer and TV-tuner hardware. First I though I'd buy the Technotrend S-2300 Premium with onboard HW-decoding of MPEG2 and it's output (with supplied cables) connected to my SCART-input on my TV but then I read that MP does not support the Technotrend S-2300 Premium. In this regard can someone please confirm that this is true or is it simply the TV Engine/Server which does not support the S-2300 Premium? So if above solution is not possible, then I've decided to use a budget DVB-S-card, namely SKyStar 2 (maybe the HD-version) and then get a simply m-ATX Motherboard and use an ATI All-In-Wonder solution such as the AIW X800GT or the AIW ATI X1300 "2006" which would ensure the MPEG2-decoding and in addition it comes with TV-output already ready for SCART. FUrther it would also give me a DVD-T!! But being unlucky I noted that also the All-in-wonders are not fully supported so I am now giving up this idea as well. I am not that interested in HDTV (besides my TV does not support HDTV) so perhaps at this point I can simply use a motherboard with its built-in graphic but it must have a way I can connect it to my TV-SCART input (using an adapter I guess). ANyone who can recomend a good motherboard with this feature (Intel or AMD - doesn't really matter although I don't want to buy the latest CPU-power - a second-hand Pentium 4 3.2GHz or and AMD Athlon 3200+ would be great). Of course it should be enough powerful to play DivX. ANy suggestions? FInally, as mentioned above, I am using a STAB HH-120 rotor and for this I'd need DIsecq 1.2. Does MP support Disecq 1.2 or does this depend on the DVB-S card I'd buy? DOes the Skystar 2 (or HD) support Disecq 1.2? I know - a lot of questions but your help would really be appreciated.
