Yes you are correct My Films can manage centralized data, so when you import new movies they are instantly available to all clients along with your covers and fanart. Yes you can even track watched status for multiple users or support multiple databases for different users or different types of movies (like personal videos, documentaries, etc that you cannot lookup on the Internet). Moreover, you can update data in the GUI, either scan/add films, updated selected fields for the currently selected film, find and update incomplete data and a whole lot more. Then when you want to get real fancy (like z3us) you can customize grabbers, use AMCU updater to update fields or records or all records, aso. With My Films the sky's the limit, but it helps if you learn to fly first
They should be accessible - I am in the process of changing over to our own custom MP templates and something might have got mixed up. Can you check again? If you still cannot access them, can you let me know if it is all tutorials or just some? It's quite odd that other pages display but not those :S As Holzi said (and I didn't think he was being sarcastic at all!) - My Films is designed for users who already have extensive movie catalogs. You can create a Ant Movie Catalog database using My Films, but it is a lot to learn if you have never used/created one before. If you don't need/want a movie catalog, and just wish to access movie info and play movies in MediaPortal, I agree with Hozi - try Moving Pictures, or the built-in MP Videos feature. If you are still interested to try My Films, you can start with the FAQ entry: No Movie Catalog (if you can access FAQs ;)) and go from there. We will try to help you out as much as we can. EDIT: Sorry you posted too fast - I see you already use Moving Pictures. Yes you are correct My Films can manage centralized data, so when you import new movies they are instantly available to all clients along with your covers and fanart.
