My Movies database (1 Viewer)

Is there any way to have some kind of autoupdate of movie files to the database?
I also want the database entry to be automatically removed if the movie file itself is deleted. Browsing the movies looks really nice if you have images of them all. But the problem is to maintain if the movie is still left or if new movies are added. If you look at "My TV Series" plug-in this is solved very good and as soon as files are added or deleted they are "removed" from database and not selectable.

Is it just me who think this is a good idea and that movie database function need some updates?

I'd love this as well,
but the importing from IMDB is notoriously inaccurate sometimes

I think it's important to distinguish (extra flag, maybe) those that have been auto-imported, so you can easily find and correct them

there is a better solution now for importing movies other than IMBD.

it just need for MP Movies to have an option to import movies from the Open Source community database just like TV Series database instead of imdb who changes format every now and then and its very slow most of the times.

This is more or less what I am looking for. The best way is to have a good database for movies specially made for HTPC queries. Like TV Series does. The problem is that My Movies (movie database) is not working with it and there are not a plug-in supporting it. Any idea if someone is checking into this?

as far as i know noone is looking into this.
