Hey - I just use it to randomise my pornos - it's given them a whole new lease of life . Only joking! I have a fair collection of music videos, and essentially your work has given media portal a party jukebox for videos rather than just mp3s.
Also, as a developer for over 15 years, I know exactly why you appreciate the feedback - which is why I gave it in the first place. Keep going dude!

Holy..! This was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I have a huge collection of music videos, and this plugin in absolutely perfect for those!
Don't know if you're gonna care about feature requests, but if you do, I would love to have an MTV-style dialog show up in the beginning and end of every video with Artist, Title, Year and Director tags displayed.
Anyway, very useful piece of code you've put together! Cheers!

This plugin is exactly what I need! However, I can't seem to get it to work. I do see it's been a while since it's been updated so does it still work? Any help would be great since I'm trying to find a way to play reandom music videos without having to make a playlist outside of Mediaportal.

I've also been looking for this. I cant get it to work either. When i click on a playlist, it does nothing.

Same problem here... I create templates but when i click on them they do nothing. Tried different directories for each etc, no go. Would be great to get it working, I have the entire Simpsons collection to put on shuffle

I was talking in IRC about this the other day, I use music videos too and it would be great to put on a random selection of all my, for example pop videos.

If I can get the source for this plugin, I may be able to get it working again or update it.

I've just downloaded this plug-in.

I've made a "playlist" and added a folder but nothing happens when I select the playlist inside MP. I must have made some kinda mistake - it wouldn't be my first. I've read the faq but it wasn't much help

Edit:
Do you have to input some thing in include/exclude or is it just if you have different kind of videos in one folder?
