domi-fan: Don´t know if you got your new pc at home already, to work on this again

Anyway a new idea for the ToDo list:

Possibility to add recipes to something like "Favourites".
(Maybe also the playlist feature could be borrowed for this).

I finally got everything going on my home pc, I'll be starting this week to finish off the outstanding bugs. I'll be creating two new threads today with the list of things I want to get done for the first release.

Humm is the import function working ?
I cant understad wat i'm doing wrong, but this is what i do:
In config for v.0.0.0.8 i goto plugins, my recipes, click on setup.
Pressing ... locates the text file, clicks ok, then clicks on import.
It seems to be working, due to mosepointer being an hourglas.
But it always comes up with 0 recipes read after awhile.

I have tried 2 diffrent formats.
    MealMaster 8.01 and 8.02.
    I downloaded them here:
    http://www.ffts.com/recipes/chickenb.zip
    http://www.mealmaster.com/mm1.exe
(I did of course unzip then first:)

What am i doing wrong ?

    Hi,
played around with it a bit last night (thought I can improve the waf (wife acceptance factor :D )
found some textfiles I wanted to import but guess the format is wrong since MP comes up with 0 recipies:

#T1 Anis - Lachs "Hong Kong"
    #D 03.04.1997
    #AT Andi
    #RU Fischgerichte
    #SC für 4 Portionen
    #ZT 600 g Lachsfilet=20
    #ZT 20 g Sternanis
    #ZT 8 Wacholderbeeren
    #ZT 4 Zweige Thymian
    #ZT 35 g Meersalz
    #ZT 25 g Zucker
    #ZT 15 g Sesamkörner
    #ZT 1/2 Kopf Friseesalat
    #ZT 75 g Sojasprossen
    #ZT 3 EL Balsamessig
    #ZT Jodsalz
    #ZT Pfeffer
    #ZT 6 EL Öl
#ZB Anis und Wacholderbeeren zerkleinern. Thymianblättchen und
#ZB Meersalz dazugeben. Zu einer grobkörnigen Masse verarbeiten.
    #ZB Zucker zugeben.
    #ZB dann in Streifen schneiden.
#ZB Salat portionsweise auf Tellern anrichten, mit Sesam bestreuen
    #ZB und den Lachs dazugeben.
    #NI **
    #NO gemailt von Andi <ailte@metronet.de>
    #ST Lachs

Anybody has a good idea how to convert this to mm format?
    cheers

    Hi Cheffe...

you got the worng format.. it should be like this:

    ------------cut-------------
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02

    Title: Test
    Categories: Pie
    Yield: 5 servings

    here comes the text.....

    MMMMM
    ------------cut-------------

So your document should look like this:

    ------------cut-------------
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02

Title: Anis - Lachs "Hong Kong"
    Categories: Fischgerichte
    Yield: 4 Portionen

    #ZT 600 g Lachsfilet=20
    #ZT 20 g Sternanis
    #ZT 8 Wacholderbeeren
    #ZT 4 Zweige Thymian
    #ZT 35 g Meersalz
    ....

    MMMMM
    ------------cut-------------

    Happy cooking.

    Lars

    Hi Lars,
copy and pasted your style text in a txt file, named it test.mmf and tried to import. Result: 0 recipies read.
Got a sample file I can try and mod my own files accordingly. could give you ca. 20000 recipies I found in reply
    greets

Finally got it working last night (thx Lars)
Man this is a rigid format. One line feed at the end after the last mmmm stopped it from getting imported.
Questions: Can I delete recipies from the database? (got to remove the tests ) How?
Bugs (?): As someone said before, when u go into a recipe and hit escape it brings u to the home screen not the recipies entry screen.
ToDos (or better suggestions  ):
    - search function
    - print function (will nevr have a pc in kitchen! my girl would kill me if I try  )
    - sort function

    domi_fan:
Can u pls. give me the exact specs for the format the plugin expects?
have to convert my files (see above).

All in all it looks cool.
    thx for the work
    cheffe
