Is it possible in the My Videos setup to setup multiple folders to show up as one listing?

Basically, if I have movies stored on d:\movies & e:\movies -- it'll show a full listing of both folders at the same time instead of having to look through half the movies, then switch and look through the other half?

This is something that interests me as well, would be nice to be able to use "all" free space on different drives for storing videos.

Finally, it's not possible to select multiple folders yet? I think that its very important if we have specific folders on our PCs.
Thanks ;)

I was in the same situation a while back but after a couple of hours of searching, I figured out how to get videos located on multiple folders to show up as a single listing.

I made a quick document that walks you through the process.

This assumes you have added the folders/drives in the Configuration panel and the movie database has been updated with the correct file locations. Hope this helps…..

There are loads of topics regarding this. Use search to find them. Junction is the key =)

@ JLoser: Your sollution is a good one for people who have a working database. For me its hopeless because of the amount of movies, I cant have all the movies in one list, so I have to sort by genres. And I would have to edit genres manually in each movie entry to avoid getting 30-40 different folders with genres. For me Junctions was the sollution.

At the risk of sounding like a huge noob (which I am), what are "Junctions"?

Cheers,

EDIT: Nevermind!!! I found the answer here.

Thanks!
