I'm totaly lost. Can't find any solutions in the forum.
My problem is to get MP to send IR signal to my STB.
When I learn ant test Myblaster, the IR signal are send out (and received by the STB) but not when I use MP.
I have read a lot on this forum and have tried whit the force port 2 trick whitout any result. Some times people mention myblaster.dat but in my MP catalog I only have blaster.exe and blaster.log and myblaster.dll in plugins/process.
And also in the mediaportal.log I have the folowing string
"Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\myblaster.dat'"
I have Hauppauge 150 MCE card with the including MCE remotcontrol.
Please I need help....

Well
I have also tied that plugin, but have problem with the learning.
When I try to "Leran IR" I direct get message "Failed to learn IR" It seems as the plugin don't communicate with my blaster.
I'm glad if you will try to help me.

    Mistacool,

Your problem (at least the first one) is that the remote codes are not being loaded by the plug-in.

Blaster.exe usually writes the myblaster.dat files in the same directory it was run. Without that file that's not much you can do. After learning, locate the file and copy it over to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\.

Try it again and see what happens. Post the Mediaportal again if it doesn't work. Depending on what version of MyBlaster you might have some extra options to try to tweak it.

    Solved

Thanks a lot for your support.
    I now have a myblaster.dat file and I'm running.
The problem was that when I tried to learn the IR codes so started I with STB-2, since I only get STB-2 to work or actually only port 2. However, when I only try to learn STB-2, no myblaster.dat is created.

    OK Thanks once again:D

I guess that's true. Learing on port 2 doesn't really work. Don't have the code to check.

If you plan on using 2 blasters, myblaster will use the same code learned for port1 on both port1 and 2.

    Hi...

What am i doing wrong then? Myblaster.dat is located in /mediaportal and in blaster.exe setup it works like a charme.

    But in MP.... Nothing!
