Hmm, I'm relatively new to both MyMovies and MP:MF, but I'll give some tips regarding stuff I ran into while configuring my own install. I'll propably give some screenies etc that doesn't have anything to do with your problem, but they might be useful to others. Currently, I'm running; Windows XP SP2 Media Portal v0.2.3.0 final w/ SVN 01-31-2008 Revision:17231 MyFilms 4.4.1.1 SVN-edition (thou, everything worked just fine with stable release) MyMovies 2.42 I've now got everything besides HDDVD/BluRay (raw) supported. All .iso/.img/.avi/.mpg files are working, and I even got .mkv working just fine, by following this guide. If the movie consists of a single file, you'll have to use the Online (File)-selection of the disc in MyMovies. I know MyMovies supports having multiple .avi-files f.ex, and use the Online (Folder)-selection to play them all, but this doesn't seem to be supported by MP or MP:MF. You can ofcourse have as many discs as you'd like, using the Online (File)-selection on all of them. You'll then be able to select wich disc to play inside MyFilms. In your case, as you wan't to play VIDEO_TS-folders (DVD-R), you can't use the Online (Folder)-selection in MyMovies. In order to be able to play it in MP:MF, you'll need to use Online (File) (2), and point it to the VIDEO_TS.IFO-file located in the VIDEO_TS-folder (3). Export the XML, and import it into MyFilms using the settings from the screenie below. To test this even further, I copyed some VIDEO_TS-folders to some other computers on the network here, and used both \\computername and \\ip-adress, working just fine. Mounting a network-share to a local drive, and setting it to automount on startup, is my reccomended solution though. edit: Sorry that my screenies fucked up the thread ^^
