myPictures & Digital cameras (1 Viewer)

Hi,

maybe this has been asked before, but:

How about a button that looks for an attached digital camera and downloads the pictures into a myPictures share?

One user (hi Metaner!) has written a bunch of batch files that do this and integrated them into myPrograms. This is nice, but has some flaws (ugly DOS-Box / should be integrated into myPictures).

Any comments? I think this would be cool!

the basic question is:
how are camera-pics available?

Always through a mapped (swappable) drive??
Then this should not be a huge problem to code....

Otherwise it gets tougher!

the new camera's are mostly mapped to a drive yes.
Same goes for multi-card readers.

So it's a safe bet to go for that initially
