I have MP 0.2.2.0 + svn and all was ok.
MyTv worked perfecly.
yesterday I decided to upgrade lo last version.
First I uninstalled anything and I installed RC3 + last svn. I configured MP and when I entered in MyTv a popup window told me only Ok without message and the TV was not working.
I supposed that RC3 had something wrong, so I installed Rc2 with 16179 svn (10-11-2007). I reconfigured all and ... same problem:mad: The tv section is not working
I attached the log file.
Could someone help me to solve the problem?
I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks for the help.

Your logs seem to imply that something is wrong with a FFDshow filter. Have you enabled post-processing ? If so try disabling it and try another codec for viewing TV.

    No, I didn't enable post-processing.
I set Nvidia Pure Video codec for video and audio (as I had with my old mediaportal) and nothing else.
I tried to change with powerdvd7 codec but nothing change.
    What should I do?

I've been having the same problem since RC3.

The problem is just with ffdshow, other MPEG2 codecs are ok.

First I got "ffdshow Video Decoder not found" message and after I had spent two days to find out what is wrong, I finally got rid of that message and then got "Pin:0 not connected" etc. messages.

I started to play with K-Lite Codec Pack MPEG splitters and somehow I managed to get it working. But, the MPEG2 stuttering is back just like it was with nVidia Purevideo and other codecs. I'm starting to lose my faith.

Any codec errors that maybe screwing your setup up, i only use it for repairing errors, not changing codec merits etc, dangerous if you do not know what you are doing.

It looks for errors on launch, you then need to unlock the padlock and accept the agreement, this is if errors are found to be able to repair, if no errors then no problem.

The bug icon will take you to the errors and suggest a course of action, which is usually delete registry entry.

You would then have to reboot and possibly reinstall any faulty codecs, and then recheck with filmerit, just to be sure everything fine.

    Good Luck

Ok. I tried to use the last version of filmerit.
It told me that there is no conflict in my system.
So I decided to unistall dscaler and ffdshow.... after that myTv began to be ok. :D
Then I installed fffshow and now all seems ok.
