Hi, Im having a bit of a problem, i have managed to get my tv card to work, with alot of trouble, but i have made it find the card, and pickup all the channels. Then when i start MP and go to mytv it works but the picture is flashing at quite a rate, if i take MP out of fullscreen it stops flashing, but if i try to start mytv out of fullscreen the video doesnt start and an empty dialog box appears, is there any way to stop this flashing? Thanks for any help.

PS. I have just noticed that the flashing is a black screen every that is at the same rate as the gui's frame rate that can be see in scroll speed

I'm experiencing the same problem. What's odd, is that I haven't installed any new codecs or anything that could possibly affect my settings. It used to work just fine.

Basically, when I start MyTV in windowed mode, the TV image is displayed properly. When I go to full screen, or I maximize the window, the image changes to a bunch of black horizontal lines that are flickering at what I estimate is about 60Hz (my monitor's refresh rate). You can still see the TV image vaguely in the background.

I have a dual display setup (one Samsung 244T and a ViewSonic VP171b) and only my Samsung (primary monitor) has this problem. When I switch the primary monitor to my ViewSonic, everything works flawlessly. Both are connected to a nVIDIA 7950GT, latest drivers installed.

I've tried every (at least I think I have) setting regarding de-interlacing and MyTV settings.

Like the original poster, I too, would appreciate any help regarding this.

I have just one monitor and when I try to maximize the TV image disappears, Mediaportal goes all weird, like occupying just the left side of the screen, as if it was resizing very slowly or the whole PC had slowed down, and it just stays like that.

On my laptop, without a TV card, just using the my videos thing, it does exactly the same, only a couple of times after waiting for a long while it did end up full screen. Took ages though.

My laptop isnt the fastest machine, but my desktop PC is a dual core with 2gb ram and used regularly for gaming at 1024x768 and copes fine.

not sure that it is the same problem. Using the RC1 version, the TV screen freeze after some time (not defined). No problems with the previous version (0.2.2). What is surpricing me is the fact that also the Hauppauge Win TV is freezing and pixeling after the installation of V 0.2.3.

perhaps something important?

I am also experiencing a flashing problem. The problem only occurs when My TV is playing live and I go to the TV Guide. It flickers what looks to be from the upper left hand corner and across the screen. Also, when I go to Home I see the flickering happen. I only noticed the occurrence in the most recent SVN, 133.

I was experiencing a stuttering problem prior to getting the system to work seamlessly. I am using an AMD X2 Core processor that required me to download a driver from the AMD website. The link is listed below. Let me know if you need additional information.

me too...when i open tv in fullscreen the tv image appears on l;eft side of screen and starts flickering .....this seem to start happening only after i ran the most recent windows update, one being a .net.

ive tried 3 clean installs...might try back tracing the windows update and deleting them if possible.

Also if it still occurs please write the exact steps to duplicate and post your mediaportal log files.
