Video Render Type: Unsure
Audio Card Model: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
Audio Card Driver: 5.12.1.3663
Synopsis::

When I go into MyTV and turn on the TV I can immediately hear audio playing but it takes the video about ~6 seconds to show up. This then causes the audio and video to not sync up properly. I have tried multiple other video codecs (Dscaler, Leadtek, Cybervideo) and all share this problem.

Another issue for me is image tearing, almost any motion at all causes black horizontal lines to cross the screen. I have read about this on the forums and have tried some things (such as PCI latency tool and Vsync) all to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you enabled DirectX exclusive mode?

    Try selecting a different audio renderer for TV.

    Yes DirectX Exclusive mode is enabled.

    I have now also tried all available audio codecs (ffdshow, nvidia, dscaler, cyberlink, mpeg/ac3/dts/lp3m) and there is no change.

    Another interesting bit: If I enable TimeShifting I am able to pause the video but the audio keeps on playing, I can resume the video normally but the audio is never changed.

    Using the software that came with the card the Audio/Video are synced and there is no visible tearing, but the timeshifting issue still persists (video pauses but audio continues).

    I've now downloaded 0.2 Release and have tried using its accompanied MPV and MPA codecs and I still have the same huge video delay, anyone have any ideas? :(

    Have you tried this? You can access this setting via MP Gui/plugins/settings/TV
