hey folks

i have 2 problems.

first one: My nintendo wii is connected with a composite cable to my tv card. when i try to play games or just navigate in the menu of nintendo wii everything is late in mediaportal livetv. when i move the wii cursor, it is moved like 3 seconds later in mediaportal. it's like mediaportal is in the past :)
what could be the problem ?

second one:
when i watch tv in mediaportal the sound is blubbering. Every 2 seconds the sound tone is higher than it should be and then it goes back to what it should be for 2 seconds. when i watch an action movie it's okey cuz there is so much action you cant hear the blubbering, but let's say i listen to some decent music in livetv, or something quieter, i starts to be annoying.
it was like that with windows xp too 1 year ago and it is still like that... and i can't fix it.

Thanks in advance.

turn off timeshift, but then it wil still not be "live" because Microsofts StreamBufferEngine also adds a slight delay

please try again with the MPV/MPA codecs which come along with MediaPortal.
    sounds like a codec issue.

Timeshift is turned off all the time, so it must be this Microsoft StreamBufferEngine. Is there a possibility to turn off the delay ?

I tried it with different codecs, different Windows versions, but the audio blubbering is still there...

Please connect your console directly to the TV, using a TV card is by no way the good way of doing this.

Yeah I wish I could play videogames through my tv but there's a delay because of the streambuffer engine.
