Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

A skip and a real cancel. I would start scanning and find out it's not even finding anything close to what I have. I would then hit the X or next and it would keep going.

I am still working on the import GUI. I will get the cancel implemented soon.

Maybe I am missing something but do we have the ability to go off of directories instead of just file name? Do I need to set up some sort of regular expression for this?

I will add some regular expression that meet your file name requirements.
Just send me a list of your files by typing the following in a command windows (Be sure to change your directory to the root of where the tv series are): DIR /B /S > FileList.txt. Then email me that file.

context dependent import.[/b] If I am inside the /24/season 5 screen only update /24/season 5

    Unfortunately, this can't be done.

    Will do.

Append to database. Only add if not already in database. SO:

Isn't that what already happens. The plugin scan all the files, ignores any file already in the database, and imports the rest.

That is what happens when I import extra video's.

    Thanks.... got me worried there...

Trust me guys. the Import funtionality is far from complete. Some of the things on my do to list.

    - Finish Progress bar
    - Enable Skip file feature
    - Implement Cancel by sending import function to worker thread.
    - Implement Auto-renamer and organizer.

The last feature would renames discovered files into a filename convention specied in the setup. It may also move files into another folder.

For example. you could specify the following folder to monitor:

    D:\Download\Lost E2S01.div.lol.proper.crap.why.to.files.have.long.names.avi

once the file was imported it would be

    D:\TV\Lost\Season 1\Lost 1x2 - Pilot (2).avi

U could look at the tv.com parser. it does a lot of things GUI for example that u are lookin for.

with 026 the plugin asked me some files which I already manualy added to the database at GUI mode , perhaps this explains my question

    WeeTodd,

0.27 is great, the airtimes is sweet.

one quick favour, when you release a new version, could you either
A: update the release notes or
B: put it on this site

If you want someone to do release notes, either per release or on a wiki
let me know and i'll see If i can do that for you.

I have 504 TV shows, and 503 import correctly, this is too cool

    cheers

    Gary
