Hello all,
I'm currently busy selecting the hardware for my first dedicated HTPC. I also want to integrade my TV in Media Portal, but i haven't got any know how on TV card's. So plz help me selecting the TV card.
I have readed some info on TV cards and also have looked at this:

Currently I haven't got HDTV but I will get it when I have my HTPC working and then intergrate the TV in mediaportal. The HDTV will deliverd by cable. So I need a DVB-C TV tunner card.
What I want to do with the TV-tuner card:
- Record HDTV
- Watch HDTV (also pay channels +CI)
- Record HDTV (on channel x) & Watch HDTV (on channel y)
I have seen that some of these cards are expensive, so I can buy a card and hoping that it will work. I need more info and also tips on things that i have to keep in mind will selectin the TV-card.
