I have Asus S-Presso (audio card 6.1 AD1888 SoundMax).
And I've connected to it 2.1 speakers Logitech (model x210)
When I play x264 movies (I only tested those so far) the bass is to strong.
There is no bass control on the subwoofer and I use ffdshow to decode the audio (speakers connected to stereo jack)
from some strange reason , the bass and treble options are disabled in the audio control panel and I can't change the value there (Low / High control).
Is there a way to adjust the bass ? maybe using the WMP11 equalizer (Will it remmember the settings in MP ?) or outside program like DFX (a friend of mine mentioned).
