Thanks for the replies. I've been a bit busy lately and haven't had a chance go back to this until yesterday. I got it fixed (somehow) by installing SAF v5 beta. Strangely, I didn't have to add ffdshow audio dec to the post processing on MP but I'm glad it's working now. The source were all MKV files. I don't have many. But any time it had DTS audio, the stutter would show up. Now, everything seems to be working fine but now the stuttering is only happening with the cartoons I've recorded for my daughter. It's only 2.0 stereo but the signal stutter is audible.. even worse than it was with the DTS. I'll try adding the ffdshow audio dec to post processing and see if that does anything. Thanks! ========= So adding the ffdshow audio decoder to the Video post processing menu didn't help a bit. When I check Graphstudio, it says the file is being split first by AVI Splitter then the two streams go to ffdshow video and audio decoders. I tried disabling AVI Splitter via Filemerit but then the files wouldn't play at all. When I play the file on my other machine, the audio stream goes directly to MP3 Decoder DMO and the video goes to ffdshow video decoder and the audo sounds fine. Any ideas on how to get my htpc to use the same decoder?
