Hello everyone.
I have been using XBMC for several years now. I think I would like to switch to MediaPortal, as my development environment ic C# and VS, so it will be easy for me to develop. I have gotten the source and made a bit of changes previously to TV Serverm however I did not commit any thing to this project, so now I am looking to start with this release. My question is specific to TV Server. I see that there is a WEB Radio tuner card, but no WEB Tv tuner card. It looks as web streams related to radio are working very well, however TV streams are noy functioning in the same way, and they return unable to start time shifting message. I can put a tuner card in offcourse, but that is not what my objective is. I would like to setup an all in one system, as that is the greatest benefit, ie; TV Tuner ( Cable), SAT and offcourse web streams. I realize that I can create a plugin that will allow me to stream from anywhere but the ideal would be to use TV Server, since that would combine everything together.
I am looking for pointers, directicon as to a. If there is any web tv card emulated developed, b. other ways to run streams via TV Server, and c. if not, then is rewritting / creating a plygun for tv server the only option.
