Since the Manual section for the tv server on the website is outdated and is missing all help or information about the EPG tab, I have to ask again here on the forum:
If I turn off epg grabbing when idle and the rest of the epg grabbing functions is on, when exactly is the epg grabber kicking in? Only when I am watching live tv? Or with this option not activated, epg grabbing will never happen? Or something else?

I think the options are self-explaining: grabbing while idle will always grab the EPG (depending on the time interval chosen), grabbing while timeshifting/recording will only grab during timeshift or recording
