need to uninstall tv server client application because i am getting howhelper error i believe is related to tv server app via hauppauge colossus card i have. i installed tv server before and i attempted uninstall it never would fully unstall it got stuck at the last process when i selected full , i believe.

which of the 3 choices do i select?

uninstalled and restarted no luck with getting the error to go away. any suggestions?

Hi

The HCWHelper error has nothing to do with TV Server - it is to do with the MediaPortal client. Have you set up a Hauppauge remote in MediaPortal configuration?

no i have not set up any remotes whatsoever

The problem will go away if you uninstall IR32.exe, which is the Hauppauge remote software with the icon that sits in your system tray area. If you use the Hauppauge remote for other stuff then you should set it up in MediaPortal with the idea being that MediaPortal needs to know about the remote so that it can avoid fighting with Hauppauge's software...
