Need updated TV3 External Channel Changer (1 Viewer)

Hi to everyone!

Long story short, I am using a firewire enabled STB for my HTPC setup with mediaportal.
I would like to use its firewire function to change the channels, as I can make it work outside or mp.

But the TV3 External Channel Changer plugin is NOT available for 1.2.1.

If anyone can give it a quick compile or show me how to do such a thing, I'd be amazing.

I think the External Channel Changer may be obsolete - of course I could be completely wrong. Can you not use IRSS with its TV3 Blaster Plugin and configure it to call the external application that sends the commands?

Actually, I didn't even think of that .... loll makes sense though!

I'll hate myself for this if you are right, I lost so much time last night trying to compile the damn thing lolll...
