Hi I am new to Mediaportal, I have read alll the manuals searched forums and watched videos, Got SQL tv engine SVN build 14527 all running on server but although on my client machine i can see my TV guide and chan the channel in TV server i cannot view or get any evidence that the stream from my server is making it onto my LAN. No clients or streams seem to be listed in the TV server setup window an if i try VLC to view the rtps steam i see nothing. I have exceptioned SQL browswer, server in windows firewall along with Mediaportal and TV engine . Not sure what to do next . Any help much appreciated

    Hi,
Try to disable firewall on server to see if it works.

I have tried with firewall switched off, and also adding ports for TCP but not udp as advice from networking colleage was not to open to many udp ports.
    still no joy
when client connects should it not show up on server steam tab?
