New at this, what do i need to do? (2 Viewers)

I wanted to add that the ATI card I have has been a driver nightmare from the day I bought it. I also have a super old hauppauge card, should I try that instead? However, the ati card is working with the other media center software right now on the same pc.
Might I add that I canceled my Dish tv effective the 15th, which will also be the date my wife kills me if i don't get this new setup working by then

Ok I have been messing with this for days now, I have another hunch.
Is it possible that I need a digital converter box connected to the card? Here's how I have the TV set up without computer, just tv.

Powered antenna to antenna digital box, out from there into a digital to analog converter box, out from there to tv.

I assumed I did not need the box but I cannot get MP to pick up any channels, what are your opinions?

Again, it works in sagetv with just the antenna so it would be odd if I did need the converter box for MP to work.

Ok I guess I am going to get no help with this, I have no choice but to spend money and get safetv which I would rather not do. thanks anyway.
