Summary:
(1) Add an option to the XMLTV plugin enabling gaps in the EPG data for a guide channel
to be filled in from another guide channel.
(2) Add an option to the XMLTV plugin adding actors and directors to description.
Area:
TV Server XMLTV plugin
Description:
Further details for (1)
Background:
In Australia the same program content can be sent on HD and SD channels from the one provider, with
one EPG guide serving for both. On occasions the provider will send different content on the SD and HD channels,
but the EPG data for the HD channel will only contain the difference, with gaps where the content is the same as the SD channel.
Requirement:
Fill gaps in incomplete channel listings from other channel data.
This functionality is inlcuded in the EPG Downloader service for TV Server by Big Kev
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/.../epg-downloader-service-tv-server-only-32166/
However it appears this program is no longer maintained, and broken since changes to the TV server database in 1.1 Alpha.

Fill gaps in incomplete channel listings from other channel data (yes, this does happen in Australia! When the HD channels only have data for the few programs that are different from the SD channel, you need to merge the HD and SD listings to fill the gaps in the HD listing...)
