Hey everyone,
I'm new to the MediaPortal world as of last week and have been tweaking with the program ever since I finished my HTPC build and had the program downloaded. Overall, I'm thrilled with the functionality and capabilities of MP and can't wait to get it running exactly how I want...
But I am having some problems that I couldn't find solutions to by just searching the forum and was hoping someone here could give me a hand. First off, I'm noticing when I select a movie to start in the MP the movie doesn't appear in the correct resolution. For example, only half the movie will pop-up and the rest will be covered in black, or the movie will completely appear but it will only take up half the screen total. Usually, when I exit out of the movie and go back into the movie it will correct or when I skip right to the movies menu...but then other times the screen just goes totally black...any ideas?
Another issue that isn't as bad, but one I would like to fix anyways, is when I have a Blu-Ray ISO on my hard drive and want to play it through PowerDVD but launch it through MP (mounted with Daemon Tools), is there a way to make MediaPortal auto minimize on launch and have PowerDVD maximize? Or better yet have the Blu-Ray ISO play inside Media Portal? (I'm still trying to make MP play Blu-ray discs correctly using the walk through on the forum)
And finally the last thing...sometimes when I start up a movie it will go through with the previews just fine, but when it gets to the menu the screen will be totally black, when this happens I try and exit out of the movie but MP becomes totally unresponsive and I have to restart the PC to fix the problem...I really want to keep using MP since it works great when its not buggy.
Thanks for all the help guys!!
