I've just built myself a new HTPC after not upgrading anything in mine of the past year.

My new system spec:

Antec Fusion Remote Black
Intel DG45ID with HDMI out
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
Kingston 8Gb DDR2 800MHz ( 4 x 2Gb )
Pioneer DVD216
3 x 1Tb Samsung Spinpoint HDDs
Vista Ultimate 64bit

I am very happy with my new build, it is quiet, fast and runs very well with MP.

Hi,

I would have had 16Gb if my motherboard would of supported it hah.

No I don't use it for timeshift, I just thought whislt running 64bit Vista I would make fll use and use 8Gb.

Just to add as I've not put much info and if you would like anymore please tell me.

I'm running the onboard GFX through HDMI to my Samsung 40" 1080p LCD @ 1920 x 1080 60Hz.

The sound is run through optical to a Samsung 2.1 system.

Lmao you confused the crap out of me because you said you had the Antec Fusion Remote Black case which is what I have... but I was looking at your pictures and got really frustrated since my case doesn't have any of those features (ATX compatibility, sideways PSU, the extra hard drive storage area, the different location of the lcd/5.25 drive cage, the 140mm fan location, etc. etc.). Then I realized you meant to say the Antec Fusion Remote Black "Max" enclosure... which solved all my confusion. Looks like a great update and a great enclosure altogether...

I have the normal Antec Fusion Remote Black and I wish they had turned the PSU sideways like that... the enclosure is too wide to fit on my electronics shelf the way it is and it forces me to put it on the top shelf. Had the PSU been placed in it like that and had they made the case a little taller I would have been just peachy with it. That has been my only problem.

Regardless, congrats on the build and I hope you enjoy the enclosure!

Iv'e built a few of those Fusion MAX systems :p Pain to install the HDDs

That case is practically designed to take a Mini Ninja CPU cooler, worth upgrading :)

Nice job tho :p
