Thomson 28" pure flat widescreen tv

pc is connected to tv via scart cable
audio is set up as 4 channel with one output going to the tv through the scart plug and the other channel going to my sony hi-fi.

all my files are stored on my other pc's hard drives and are accessed via netgear Dg834g v2 wireless router

i'm using the imon remote to power on the pc and for controling windows, and for media portal i'm using a medion x10 remote because the imon remote is too sensitive.

i cant decide whether to have the vfd running the standard info and the graphic equalizer while using media portal, or to have it showing the media portal info.? if i have it showing the media portal info i cant get it to show the equalizer which is quite cool.
