Previous Win7 computer was getting TV fine through MP1.7.1hotfix until it died of terminal hardware fault. Purchased faster Win7 box with more memory and installed Hauppauge 2200 TV card (from dead box) with latest software and MP1.9. Got the rest of MP up and running but can't get TV working. TV-Server config DVB-T scan shows no signal and there definitely is because the same cable was used to watch TV during server re-construction. I have a spare card, Hauppauge 2210, which I tried with the same result. I can find no error messages in the TV-Server log and the WinTV 7 program also finds no channels when it scans.

So, a bit lost as where to go next and look to your advice.

    Log files required please.
Also, please post a screenshot of Windows device manager with the "sound, video and game controllers" section expanded.
Finally, please tell us if you have restarted the PC after installing the tuner driver.

Note: I'm assuming you stop TV Server before testing with WinTV, and restart TV Server after testing with WinTV. I'm also assuming you've tried different PCIe slots on the motherboard. Finally, I'm also assuming you downloaded and installed the latest driver from Hauppauge's website (ie. you're not using a default Microsoft update driver, or an ancient driver from a CD).

mm, hi again. Which logfiles? No, I didn't stop/start - I'm not sure how to do that. Only 1 PCI-Express 1x slot in this computer. The attached image shows the driver source and version and the system has been restarted many times since installation.

    Which logfiles?
As always, all of them. Please get into the habit of using the watchdog/debug mode tool.
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/3_Forums/2_Log_Files

This tool includes TV Server log files when TV Server is installed on the same PC as MP.
In this case you'd use option 3 to export existing log files to a zip file, then simply attach the zip file.

    No, I didn't stop/start - I'm not sure how to do that.
Go to the "manual control" section of TV Server configuration, click "stop service"... then "start service".

Only 1 PCI-Express 1x slot in this computer.
You can use any PCIe slot, as long as the slot is physically long enough. In other words, you could use PCIe x1 cards (like the HVR-22**) in PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slots if you have any of them free.

The attached image shows the driver source and version and the system has been restarted many times since installation.
    Okay, nothing obviously wrong there.

    Thanks. :)
No obvious errors there, so I wonder: how long was it since your previous computer died? Is it possible that frequencies in your region changed? Various areas of Australia have had a bit of a reshuffle over the last year or so, and AFAIK that shuffling is still going on...

Hmmm, have you tried a scan with the Australia all regions option? Other than that, there really is nothing obviously wrong. If I were you I'd double-triple check the aerial cable. If WinTV isn't working either then you know that something is not as it should be. Hauppauge support may be able to help with more detailed trouble-shooting.

VERY weird! I went into TV-Server config to do an all regions scan and it didn't show any DVBT tuners. They were not enabled and the enabled entries shown as type unknown. Maybe this was due to me running WinTV without first shutting down. Anyway, ticked and unticked and started an all region scan and, lo, it picked up my stations! Thank you again mm!

Last night I installed mediaportal, and first thing I noticed is that my tv card(actually 2) do not catch any program. I select Europe because my country(Serbia) not listed. This cards work fine with another program and I managed to watch TV. This is the first part of my question.
This morning I can not start tv server configuration. I atached log file.
    Any help?
    Thanks
