New plugin : DreamDboxTV (2 Viewers)

Well i finally tried it. It found and connects to my Dreambox, plugin starts but... no video!!! just the vlc icon (big)

file karasardelis check what version of vlc you got i had a similar problem and as kroko instructed i installed version 8.6h of vlc and it worked.

I had the same issue so I installed 8.6h and still had the same issue then after 5 or 6 attempts at trying it, suddenly it came on and always comes on now, make sure you get the .exe install pack of vlc though.

I used the latest version 8.6i but i always prefer the msi version... Hmmm, i'll try the exe version but i don't understand why the exe version will work where the msi vesion fails. Let's see...

I use vlc 0.8.6i now and everything works just fine now even all the HD channels works perfectly

had to roll back my OS due to some problems. currently I am usin MP rc2 (no svn) tv server rc2 and aeon wide skin.
all running on xp sp3

Are there sepperate log files for this plugin, or should we send the normal MP logs?

Hi,

yes there is a seperate log file under

(documents and settings/all users/application data/team-mediaportal/mediaportal/log)

filename: mydbox.log

That should be enough with a small note what happens:

"I pressed this and that happens and got the following message on the screen"

Sorry if I'm wrong, but from my p.o.v. the DreamDboxTV_V05.916.zip in the download sektion looks more like the source files, than a plug-in. If I'm wrong, then please tell how to install these files, since the read_me.txt doens't really help me.

I have problems getting the bouquet from my DB800 with Gemeni (think its latest - about a month old)
