Thank you for implementing this so quick rtv. I'm glad I could have a very small contribution to this wonderfull open source project.
Thre was a small bug in my patch file, two of the strings were reversed between zoom and zoom149, I corrected it long ago, but forgot to upload the updated patch. I see that u have corrected this and I'm sorry if I caused any trouble.
Yes, that should be an option, but it crops too much of the image and subtitles won't fit on the screen any more on most of the channels.

This is just the scenario where "zoom" comes into place - stretching horizontally to fit the screen and then increase the height accordingly..
